Nokia N81 : A trend-setting device!

The world of communication was very different from what it is today. Earlier, the methods of communication used to be very unreliable and expensive. If we talk about the TFT display screen of this phone, it is 2.4 inches in size, which is quite large by any standard. Not only that, the display screen also has the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and can support around 16 million colours. Nokia N81 has got a user memory of 12 mega bytes and 96 mega bytes of SDRAM memory. In addition to that, the user can also expand its memory upto 8 GB by employing microSD card. Owing to its abundant memory, the phonebook can record large number of phone numbers. Also, it can keep the call record of last 30 days. In addition to that, it also has the feature of photocall. It is a feature which allows the users to store the photo of the people who feature in their phonebook. So when the next time the person whose photo is stored in phone along with his/her number, will call, his/her photo will appear on the display screen.

Speaking of its connectivity department, this phone is loaded with GPRS, EDGE, HSCSD and even 3G network which works at an astonishing speed of 384 Kbps. It also has built-in Bluetooth, WLAN and USB port to add icing in the cake. This phone from Nokia also provide the option of text messaging, picture messaging, sending and receiving E-mails and even allow the user to enjoy the benefits of instant messaging. The operating system installed in this gadget is Symbian OS 9.2 series 60 v3.1 UI.
